Mozy online backup - extra 512M free

These days, it is unforgivable to lose files due to computer malfunction, or by running into iJustine in the street - because backup software has developed by leaps and bounds. The Mozy service combines a small application on your PC with storage held securely on Mozy's servers. The application scans your system for changed files after you've left it idle for some time, encrypts your data (with either your own key, or mozy's), then sends it up to the Mozy servers in thet cloud.  I use this service on both my laptop and home desktop PC - and I rarely notice it running - which demonstrates that it really is a small, efficient application. Online backup - Mozy.com

I've been keeping an eye out for online backup services, but this is the first I've found that is both simple, looks reliable, and is free (for the moment they're in beta and you get 2GB of storage for free... more is available for an additional fee). The only 'cost' is being sent some emails from mozy.com containing advertising (nothing that a filter or spam address shouldn't be able to fix...).

Sign up at mozy.com, and if 4 people do so through this link, and each completes at least one backup, I get an additional Gig of space.
