Mozy online backup - extra 512M free
These days, it is unforgivable to lose files due to computer malfunction, or by running into iJustine in the street - because backup software has developed by leaps and bounds. The Mozy service combines a small application on your PC with storage held securely on Mozy's servers. The application scans your system for changed files after you've left it idle for some time, encrypts your data (with either your own key, or mozy's), then sends it up to the Mozy servers in thet cloud. I use this service on both my laptop and home desktop PC - and I rarely notice it running - which demonstrates that it really is a small, efficient application.
