Outlook 2007 - filing emails to folders

This may seem like a pretty simple cool-thing, but I’ve only just discovered it, so it’s new to me.

Like many of you, I use Outlook to manage my email, and also use it extensively to manage GTD archives. This means that when I’m processing my email to file in a reference folder I have lots and lots of folders.

Up until today I’ve been frustrated by the small Move-To folder window in Outlook. I even bought a Logitech MX Revolution mouse to assist with the free-spinning wheel.

But today I simply tried typing the name of the folder while in the Move-To window; and as if by magic, the folder appeared. It seems to search across multiple PSTs, and both forwards & backwards.
